Hello there, my name is Travis. Since you clicked on the 'about' link, I assume you want to know a little bit about yours truly. Sure, I suppose I can arrange something.

Let's see, I was born in April, 1979, making me 31 years old at the time I'm writing this. That's a nice start, no? I was born just outside of Seattle, Washington. I spent my formative years learning all sorts of uninteresting garbage; incidentally, this makes me a wonderful Trivial Pursuit partner.

I currently live near Washington DC, and I am pursuing my BS in Computer Science from the University of the District of Columbia. I work as a research assistant in the Computer Science department, and I also write software for the Civil Engineering department.

My interests? Well, I am a vegan. I also love Linux, and I've been running it since about 1998. Fun times.

Wait, let me get this straight, you read my 'about' page, and you haven't immediately come to the conclusion that I am the most boring person alive? Pardon my saying so, but you are either crazy, a member of my immediate family (in which case you are, by definition, crazy), or you have even less of a life than I do. OK, fine -- if you're really interested in finding me online, I suppose you can take a look at my blog, but there really is not much there. In fact, I update my blog almost as frequently as I buy fancy Italian sports cars... which is to say hardly ever. You can search for me on Facebook though.

Here are just a few of the projects I've been working on:
