Hello there, my name is Travis. Since you clicked on the 'about' link, I assume you want to know a little bit about yours truly. Sure, I suppose I can arrange something.

Let's see, I was born in April, 1979, making me 28 years old at the time I'm writing this. That's a nice start, no? I was born just outside of Seattle, Washington. I spent my formative years learning all sorts of uninteresting garbage; this makes me a wonderful Trivial Pursuit partner.

I currently live in Washington DC with my lovely partner, Sara. Sara is, by far, more interesting than I am; I often find myself being asked by others to shut up about how damn smart she is. She is, by the way, damn smart. Anyway, I am pursuing my BS in Computer Science from the University of the District of Columbia, and I work at the Whole Foods Market in Georgetown.

My interests? Well, I am a vegan. I also love Linux; I am currently running Ubuntu on both my desktop and my laptop. I've been running Linux since about 1998. Fun times.

Wait, let me get this straight, you read my 'about' page, and you haven't immediately come to the conclusion that I am the most boring person alive? Pardon my saying so, but you are either crazy, a member of my immediate family (in which case you are, by definition, crazy), or you have even less of a life than I do. OK, fine -- if you're really interested in finding me online, I suppose you can take a look at my blog, but there really is not much there. I do, however, have an account with pandora.com, and you should too.

Here are just a few of the projects I've been working on:

Please consider email to be my preferred method of communication. In addition, please do not be offended if I do not answer my phone right away; I often leave it on silent and check my messages later. If you are contacting me in regards to Computer Science tutoring, please remember to tell me who you are and what class you need help with in your message.

If you are a student at the University of the District of Columbia, you can usually find me, Monday through Thursday, in the engineering building (32/42) on the first floor.
